Timeless Beauty: Lace

Lace is not only a classy choice, it is a classic one. Lace was invented in the 15th and 16th centuries, but it wasn’t until the 19th century when our modern lace choices were introduced. But lace has always been fashionable; it represents distinguished taste. We see this in paintings from Rembrandt to Van Dyck –the exquisite fabric is timeless. And even though the intricacies of lace-making and lace-patterns widely vary, the choice of classic lace is once again the height of fashion.
