As you know, we love the arrival of new gowns at Avenía!  We are thrilled to have just received Juno, a fabulous gown by New York designer Junko Yoshioka.

Juno is a beautiful A-line gown with a natural waist, duchess satin bodice, dramatic flounced fan at back bodice, chic chapel train, and unique satin striped organza skirt.

Juno is a creation highly blessed with femininity and a soft sophistication.   We cannot rave enough about this gown.

As always, Juno is available strapless or redesigned with shoulders and sleeves if preferred.

It’s nothing but excitement at Avenía Bridal as each new gown arrives in our boutique. Purchased at Market Week, it feels like ages since we’ve seen them, and, as Lisa says, “It’s like greeting an old friend; we purchase the gowns several months before we get them into the boutique, so it’s always exciting to see them again!”

Here is the latest from Liancarlo (#4837), which just arrived last week! According to Nancy, “The sheer net skirt is  finished with three tiers of silk satin banding. Cut in a playful circular shape, it has the reminiscent feel of Ginger Rogers; very smooth fitting in the waist, but flaring out graciously into a vintage dance feel. The bodice is beautifully pleated with an incredible encrusted crystal applique, with a few crystals continuing on into the one-shouldered detail.” 

And, as always, the gown can be altered to include shoulders and/or sleeves. Come by the boutique to see this amazing gown!

As you know, we love the arrival of new gowns! (Click here for a post on a Rivini gown arrival.) We just received another one, and it is fabulous: Verde by Junko Yoshioka.

Lisa, our Managing Director, loves this dress because “of the Jacquard fabric pattern. It looks traditional, but the delicate geometric pattern is such a flattering juxtaposition to the feminine ruffles.”

For Nancy (our Artistic Director), her favorite part is ”the Asymmetrical line. It is very flattering, as it follows all the artistic elements by moving the eye right to the face.” (To read more about artistic elements, click here).

~ Cashel is a floor length fit and flare gown with a sweetheart neckline and tiered skirt. Each tier is finished in a graduated banded silk organza treatement; the waist is an accented organza belt with an organic organza flower. Delicate Alencon lace begins at the neckline and continues throughout each skirt tier. ~
