I had a specific dress in mind for my wedding day that I simply could not find in any of the bridal shops. When I finally discovered Nancy, I described to her the dress that I had in mind. She drew it up exactly as I described it and created just as I had dreamed. She made many great suggestions but was not forceful in her opinion. Her work is flawless and tasteful. In the search for my dream wedding dress, I could not find anything but the same old "cookie cutter" dresses that I had seen at every other store and on every other girl.  Then I was referred to Nancy Barrus Couture.  After explaining my dilemma to Nancy and showing her my picture, she grabbed a drawing pad and we began to create the gown.  I was amazed at Nancy's vision and talent!  She made sure that every detail was perfect- from how the sleeves fit, to how the front of the dress was draped, and how the lace roses were designed and placed on the back of the dress.  Nancy made my bridal gown dream come true!

I searched in all of the local bridal stores and became very discouraged.  They all seemed to carry the same cookie-cutter dresses.  None of them matched my personality or the type of wedding party we were throwing.  At the last store I asked if someone could make me exactly what I wanted and I was referred to Nancy.  Nancy made my dress exactly how I wanted it, and I felt so good in it on my wedding day.  I would recommend her to anyone!
