This is a contest for those of you who have purchased your gown here at Avenia Bridal.

Show off your gorgeous gown to all your friends and family by entering our contest.

For the month of September we will be offering a ONE HOUR MASSAGE  to the winner. Prizes will vary each month depending on our local sponsor.

Here are the steps to enter:
1. “Like”   Avenia Bridal Boutique and Design Studio on facebook

2. Submit a picture of your dress along with a statement of why you chose to buy your dress at Avenia Bridal to consultant@aveniabridal.com. Contestants must have their photos in by the 15th of the month. We will then make an album of the month’s contestants on our facebook page and voters will have until the last day of the month to “Like” your photo.

3. Have your friends “Like” Avenia Bridal on facebook and vote for your picture. The winner will be chosen based on how many “Likes” they received during the month.

4. Votes will be added and we will post the winner on the first day of the following month.

We will be having a new contest every month. Each bride can enter her gown up to three times. Once a gown has won it cannot be entered again.

Greetings from Bridal Market!  I am happy to report that some of our favorite bridal trends are alive and well in the Spring 2011 collections- gowns with dimension provided by fabric, appliques and flowers.  Lots of flounce and clouds of organza and tulle, accents of black here and there, and distinctive floral designs add beauty and visual interest.  We saw bows, geometric patterns and soft, muted purples, blues and browns for accent colors.  Something for everyone!

Monday in New York City.  Rush hour in Times Square is fascinating to watch.  A pair of police officers on every corner to keep everything running smoothly.

We had a full day meeting with gown designers, including Badgley Mischka, Tara Keely and several others.  We also visited some amazing accessory designers, choosing artistic, unique and exciting accessories to compliment your gown and complete your look.  We can’t wait for them to arrive at the boutique!

Day two at  Bridal Market in New York City brought us up close and personal with the latest bridal fashions.  It’s so nice to begin meeting with our gown and accessory designers to see their new collections.

What a great time to be a bride!  Gowns are full of femininity, details, and romance.

The Priscilla of Boston Runway Show is always one of the weekend highlights.  This high energy show is always equipped with plenty of media photographers on hand to capture the newest collections.

Yesterday was shopping in the Garment District-a full day of fabric lace and specialty suppliers!  We searched for and found new treasures to be brought home and added to our extensive samples for our brides seeking a Nancy Barrus Couture custom gown creation.

Today will be full of bridal market and designer appointments.

Here, Nancy is experiencing the lace nirvana at Gelmore Lace- French lace importers to Nancy Barrus Couture as well as lines like Badgley Mischka, Rivini and all others seeking the beauty of a true French imported lace.
